Restaurant Manager - CareersForward - South Florida

CareersForward is actively seeking a Restaurant Manager for immediate placement within an award-winning, community-focused brand in South Florida. This role will help lead and support a restaurant within a territory that currently consists of 8 restaurant locations, but is rapidly growing.

Compensation for this position will be up to $50,000.

Core Responsibilities; 

Sales and Profits

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the dining room and bar areas of the restaurant 
  • Ensures correct operations of the POS systems
  • Balances all daily and nightly cash drawers and POS
  • Assists with P&Ls
  • Handles inventory and maintenance of par levels for front of house items
  • Develops and monitors daily, weekly, and annual sales projections to stay on track with restaurant budget


  • Ensures the restaurant operates efficiently and effectively within the Company’s fiscal and operational guidelines
  • Oversees all opening and closing duties to ensure they are completed correctly and that cleanliness and maintenance are preserved
  • Monitors overall operations of the restaurant, including guest satisfaction, food quality, and ambiance
  • Ensures all menu items are made according to established specifications
  • Provides excellent customer service to guests and responds promptly to guest complaints
  • Enforces and monitors all health, safety, and sanitation standards 
  • Handles multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Maintains food safety and sanitation standards

People Management

  • Trains, supervises, coaches, and counsels front-of –the-house restaurant staff
  • Develops initiatives to build sales, profitability and Guest counts.
  • Leads by example
  • Maintains appropriate staffing levels
  • Monitors safety and security procedures to maintain the safety and health of Teammates and Guests.

Education & Licensing

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree required; College Degree preferred
  • Manager Food Handler certification
  • Responsible Vendor Training
  • Valid Driver's License


  •  At least 2+ years of experience working as a Restaurant Manager required
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate progressive career responsibilities and have held in prior work experiences, like and similar duties
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and other general computer systems
