CareersForward is actively seeking an experienced Crew Resources Manager - Recruiting & Field Support for immediate consideration to place within a regionally recognized QSR fast upscale brand in the Lincoln Nebraska market. This is a newly created position.

Base compensation for this position will be up to $65k based on skills and experience.

Position Overview 

The Crew Resources Manager will be responsible for championing the company's mission, vision and values through all that he/she does on a daily basis. The position requires a strong foundation and experience in labor laws, governmental requirements/regulations and employee relations, talent management/recruiting and communications

The Crew Resources Manager is also responsible for the daily management, execution and oversight of all recruitment-related activities. He/she will manage a range of activities related to employee relations and supporting restaurant operators (managers) with human resources activities.  Manager must maintain current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments and applicable laws regarding human resources and more specifically recruiting. 

Major Responsibilities 

Daily management, execution and oversight of recruitment-related activities:

  • Develop and execute recruiting and recruiting advertising plans
  • Manage recruiting systems (iCIMS), requisitions, and outside recruiters
  • Point person and coordinator for all manager and support office candidates from application to offer
  • Directly source and screen qualified candidates utilizing various techniques
  • Train restaurant operators (managers) on recruiting systems, process and standards
  • Regular reporting on recruiting pipeline

Management of various field-directed human resources activities:

  • Provides advice and counsel to managers and supervisors in the field regarding employee practices, company policy and employment laws
  • Assists with discipline (including attendance problems), counseling, and employee investigations.
  • Monitors employee accident & incident reports for routing, completeness and follow through. Files those not going to claim status
  • Conducts periodic human resources audits within restaurant locations

Maintains Legal Compliance: 

  • Ensures that all Federal, State and Local laws are followed and the company's functions are compliant 

Position Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in recruiting required
  • Experience with iCIMS or similar applicant tracking system required
  • Proficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Three to five years of relevant experience as a human resources generalist preferred
  • PHR or SPHR designation preferred
  • Ability to travel in a regional demographic up to 50% of the time

This position will work an average of at least 45-50 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
